Course Description

Students examine of the principles of cinematic stories, structure, character and dialogue. Film screenings and script analysis by modern screenwriters. Lecture topics include narrative feature concept development, analysis of a variety of story structures, plot outlining, character development, openings, scene structure, dialogue, screenplay form/style.
