Course Description

One of the most exciting aspects of being a CCS Writing & Literature major is the opportunity to work on your own independent projects as a part of your required coursework in the form of a creative and research capstone project. Students create short story and essay collections, novels, screenplays, comics, poetry collections, and many other hybrid forms. However, managing a large project is hard work, perhaps especially at the beginning. In Mid-Residency Review, students will pitch their ideas for their capstone projects and get feedback from their elder peers and faculty at this crucial stage of development. There will also be opportunities to reflect more fully on your journey as a CCS W&L major so far and where you might be headed in the years to come.
