Course Description

In this brand new seminar series we invite faculty, alumni and emeriti from each of our 9 majors, and our interdisciplinary faculty, to give a presentation inspired by a single word. For this inaugural course we have chosen the one word we have in common: "CREATIVITY".

Presenters may choose to discuss what creativity means in their discipline, or discuss particularly creative insights in their own field. We have kept the prompt broad and we hope that our presenters take a creative approach.

The word for the next seminar will be chosen during the class.

Normative number of units for the class is 2. Students will be asked to post reflections on the presentations.
