Course Description

The concept of translingualism encompasses both writing in more than one language and writing in one’s second language. This course will explore literary translingualism in theory and practice, unsettling entrenched conventions of how to approach language. Through critical discussions of fiction and poetry and short writing exercises, we will engage with the radical potential of translingual poetics.

This is a student-led colloquium led by Audrey Lin under the supervision of Michelle Petty.
