Course Description

Students will enhance their understanding of how science is communicated, between scientists and between scientists and the public. We will also look at how miscommunication and how to track news articles back to the science. Course participants will gain experience in communicating their own scientific research or creative work to various audiences and will participate in the 2018 Flame Challenge (curious about that? Come to class and check it out!). Open to all majors (not just Bio and not just STEM!).
