Course Description

In this poetry workshop, students will build on and strengthen poetic techniques by engaging with a number of contemporary poetry collections. Through a critical and concentrated attention to language, students will produce poetry that renders imaginative provinces and the realm(s) of experience in dynamic and compelling ways. Throughout the quarter, students will produce poetry that aims to be resonant, meaningful, and sustaining.
