BEGINNING SCREENWRITING WORKSHOP

Course Description

In this foundational course, students will explore the art and craft of screenwriting, learning the essential principles of storytelling for the screen. Through a combination of lectures, writing exercises, and peer workshops, participants will gain a solid understanding of screenplay structure, character development, dialogue, and visual storytelling. By the end of the course, students will complete a short script and develop the skills needed to bring their unique stories to life on screen. No prior experience is required—just a passion for storytelling and a willingness to create!
