Course Description

This course complements the class CS 128, in which the students learn how to write proofs. This course will examine a variety of short topics such as Number Systems, Complex Numbers, Polynomial Equations, Euler's Formula and Platonic Solids, Integers and Congruences, Counting and Choosing, Isometries, etc. The goal is to solve problems related with these topics while practicing the proof-techniques learnt in CS 128.
