ART AND BOTANY AT THE COAL OIL POINT RESERVE

Course Description

We will explore art and science as appropriate to learning about native plants through observation, contemplation, and representation. We will draw and paint the plants that grow on the Coal Oil Point Reserve. The drawings and paintings can be as simple or as complex as the artist desires: but a botanist must be able to identify the plant to genus. Important: First class meeting is at the Nature Center at Coal Oil Point.
