Course Description

An exploration of basic number systems including the integers, rational, real and complex numbers, and more examples that will be important in subsequent courses. This course complements CS 128 where the focus is on learning to write mathematical proof. Students will be expected to work collaboratively on challenging problems and write up their results in a mature mathematical style
