SOCIAL PRINT LAB

Course Description

In this course students will work collaboratively to design, print, distribute and publish art works that promote community engagement and facilitate dispersal of ideas around topics of social, environmental justice and contemporary culture. Through a series of lectures, demos and meetings, students will work with an editorial board, an invited UCSB student let organization, visiting artists, designers and thinkers to develop and distribute a series of artworks such as limited edition Artist Books/Zines, Prints (posters and ephemera) and Web content for publication around campus, online and beyond.
