INTRODUCTORY FICTION WORKSHOP

Course Description

In this introductory workshop, students will explore a wide range of form and technique made possible in writing fiction. Whether you are relatively new to writing prose or a seasoned narrative practitioner, this course will benefit anyone interested in developing and deepening their craft. In this course we will focus on the fundamentals of effective storytelling, sharpen analytical skills, develop a sustained writing practice, and generate a number of fictional situations, characters, and texts.
