Controlling Growth of Neurons

Although his classmates were joining UC Santa Barbara's Physics labs, third-year CCS Physicist Aaron Peng wanted to explore the other sciences, and he began studying neuroscience in the Theogarajan lab.

Receiving a 2018 CCS Summer Undergraduate Fellowship enabled Aaron Peng to dedicate his summer to the Theogarajan lab. Aaron is one of 36 students who earned 2018 CCS Summer Undergraduate Fellowships. Completely supported by donors, each recipient is currently working in one of UCSB's top laboratories or creating creative works of art.
