GENERAL CHEMISTRY A

Course Description

Topics covered: atomic structure of matter; reaction stoichiometry; solution stoichiometry; gasses; quantum chemistry and the electronic structure of atoms; chemical bonding (molecular shapes, hybridization, and molecular orbital theory). Course is open to all CCS Chemistry and Biochemistry students. CCS students in other majors should consult with the instructor prior to enrollment.
