ADVANCED SOLO PROJECTS

Course Description

Do you want to create a singular project that truly shows who you are as a creator or researcher? This class provides motivated students the opportunity to work on one distinct project throughout the entire quarter — complete with professional standards and real-world deadlines. The goal being that at the end of the term you have a completed signature piece that truly represents you and your research.

Each student will make a formal presentation to the class during Week 2, detailing your objectives, timeline, and end goal. The class we then revisit your progress every two weeks until the final work is presented at the end of the term (alternative weeks feature short exercises designed to expand your creative process). This class is open to all students who are serious about producing quality work. While it is centered in art, we have had physics, biology, music, and writing students all successfully participate in the past.
