Visitor Parking

All vehicles parked on campus or on any UCSB-owned property must be associated with a valid campus parking ePermit.

Directions and permit instructions are available here. In accordance with UC Santa Barbara Parents & Family Weekend, visitors should follow the “Parents & Family Weekend" signs to parking structure 22. Please note: Parking Lot 22 is about 0.5 miles from the Interactive Learning Pavilion. As such, it is recommended that guests leave ample time to walk from the parking structure to the event venue. If helpful, passengers may be dropped off in lot 3, adjacent to the Interactive Learning Pavilion, prior to parking.

Following all applicable rules and signage, faculty and staff who have an ePermit may park anywhere that their permit allows.

ADA Parking: For information on ADA parking, please refer to this page. For lot-specific information about lot 3 or lot 22, please visit the interactive UC Santa Barbara campus map.

Weather Update

We’ve been monitoring the forecast and are aware of a chance of rain for Saturday. Although the probability has dropped to 17% and continues to decrease, we have a contingency plan in place to ensure that the poster session will be held under a covered area should any rain occur. We encourage you to dress accordingly for the weather.

RACA-CON brings together our interdisciplinary community of students, faculty, alumni, parents, and friends to learn about the exceptional work being conducted by passionate students across all nine CCS majors. Featuring short talks, poster presentations, and visual displays of original works, the conference seeks to unite the arts, humanities, sciences, and beyond under one roof, fostering the exchange of knowledge across fields and sparking new connections and ideas.

We embrace diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of RACA-CON. Discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic are not tolerated. Please engage in respectful and constructive dialogue during presentations, discussions, and interactions. Find more information on campus policies here.
