Course Description

This studio course will explore collaborative practices within the tradition of printmaking and artists' books. We will first determine a theme and design constraints by group discussion and consensus. Each artist will then create a print edition within these parameters. All of the prints will be compiled and contained in cloth bound boxes that each artist will create, resulting in a limited edition loose-leaf style artists' book. Everyone will receive one boxed edition, with one copy going to the Special Research Collection Library in Davidson Library.

Pre-requisite: Print 14 in Department of Art or a letterpress course in CCS is required.
