THE WRITER'S LIFE

Course Description

Students are exposed to potential professional applications of the Writing and Literature major through appropriate guest lectures, readings, and experiential learning opportunities involving real world engagement including pitching pieces to various publications, and locating internships opportunities at various institutions that engage in creative production. We'll hear from those who work at high levels in these fields and with CCS graduates who are making their way. Engagement and opportunism are key to making it in these competitive creative fields.
