Researching Cellular Communications

January 1, 2019

Alex Cicconi-Kasper, a third-year CCS Physicist, worked in the Buckwalter Lab as a Summer Undergraduate Fellow. His research focused on building radio frequency hardware for next generation cellular networks.

Cicconi-Kasper is one of 36 students awarded a 2018 CCS Summer Undergraduate Fellowship. Completely supported by donors, each fellowship recipient spent the summer working in one of UCSB’s top labs creating original work.
