The College is excited to share the news that Alec Cao ‘21 (CCS Physics) was one of four UCSB undergraduate students to be awarded the 2021 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research. This prestigious award annually recognizes “exceptional undergraduate contributions to knowledge creation in the field or discipline in which the research was conducted.” Alec received this award for research he conducted in Professor David Weld’s lab in the Department of Physics studying ultracold atoms.
