CCS Writing & Literature Faculty Robert Krut Publishes “Watch Me Trick Ghosts”

New poetry collection introduces readers to a surreal world where strangers and spirits intersect in a city that evokes Los Angeles

In November 2021, CCS Writing & Literature Faculty Robert Krut published Watch Me Trick Ghosts through Codhill/SUNY Press. In Professor Krut’s fourth poetry collection, he introduces readers to a surreal world that features the intersection of strangers and spirits in a city that evokes Los Angeles. In 2019, Codhill/SUNY Press published Professor Krut’s previous book and the recipient of their Codhill Poetry Award, The Now Dark Sky, Setting Us All on Fire. In addition, Professor Krut authored This is the Ocean (Bona Fide Books, 2013), which received the Melissa Lanitis Gregory Poetry Award, and The Spider Sermons (BlazeVox, 2009), as well as countless poems that have appeared in numerous journals, both in print and online.
