CCS Meets Its Give Day Challenge

With gratitude to our generous community—alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends—who helped us reach our goal on UCSB Give Day, April 7, 2022! The CCS Give Day goal was 30 donors to trigger a $15,000 gift challenge from John '86 (CCS Mathematics) and Mary Kelly for their steadfast commitment to summer undergraduate research at CCS! The College raised a total of $22,465 from 44 donors.

The College's Give Day focus was to support its Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program, open to students in all eight majors (art, biology, chemistry/biochemistry, computing, mathematics, music composition, physics, writing & literature).
