CCS Physics Faculty Named Academic Director of the United States Team in the International Physics Olympiad

Congratulations to Professor Tengiz Bibilashvili

The American Association of Physics Teachers announced that CCS Physics Faculty Tengiz Bibilashvili has been selected as the academic director of the United States team in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO). Taking place in a different country each year, the IPhO is an international physics competition for high school students. In his new position, Professor Bibilashivili will serve as the head coach for the team and is currently working with other coaches to lead tryouts to determine the five students who will represent the US at the IPhO in 2022.
