Hi Everyone!

I’m so excited to invite you all to the closing reception of my first solo show, The 415. I’ve spent the past year working on a series of over 52 paintings of San Francisco to create my dream deck of playing cards! I’ll have some decks available for purchase at the reception. Please join me on Wednesday, May 13th, from 5 to 7 PM at the College of Creative Studies Gallery for snacks, drinks, and card games!

With love,

Colby

Have you ever wondered what Medusa was really like? She wasn't a monster. At least, she wasn't always one.

The story of how she got her snakes is one of romance, tragedy, and wrathful Gods. See it all in this world-premiere showcase of a new musical: A Legacy of Stone!

Additional credits: Music, lyrics, book, and direction by Chelsea-Cameron Hastings; choreography by Lena Wessel; vocal direction by Z. Giovannini; art by Joi McNeil.

Join us on April 15th in room 1145 at 5:00 PM for the culmination of Kai's studies at UCSB.

His program features intimate pieces for solo piano, film scores, a grand piece for chamber orchestra, and much more.

With a focus on melody-first composition, Kai's recital will tell the story of his time at UCSB, and leave the listener with both the songs of his successes and the tunes of his tribulations.
