The Center for Black Studies Research (CBSR) invites you to join for the inaugural screening of our documentary series on African American life in the United States. CBSR will begin this series with the film Slavery by Another Name, which explores the lasting impact of forced labor after the abolition of slavery. This series offers a thoughtful exploration of key moments and figures in African American history, providing important context for the ongoing struggles and triumphs in the African American experience.
