Gibson premiere of new work for violinist, Jennifer Koh

Violinist Jennifer Koh is recognized for her intense, commanding performances as well as for her collaboration with artists of multiple disciplines and curation of projects that connect music of all eras from traditional to contemporary. Koh also has a strong history with UCSB and CCS, having performed for the Santa Barbara community through Arts and Lectures on multiple occasions and she has given a talk in the CCS Gallery. 

Koh started a new project, Alone Together, which commissions a few composers each week to write solo works for her during this quarantine time. This Saturday, April 11th, Koh will be performing a new work written for her by CCS Music Composition Faculty Sarah Gibson as part of the Alone Together series.
