Glass Box Gallery Exhibition: "Banquet" from December 1st - 5th

The artists, Emme Birkholz, Fatima Romero, and Samantha Wilkinson share a studio, and consequently the themes, colors, and presence of their paintings bleed into one another. While their paintings have distinct styles and themes, they are collectively exploring the timeless subject of portraiture. The exhibition compares similar motifs: a knife, a cat, a flower, and it contrasts their purpose within the work and the atmosphere they hold. Like a banquet, the exhibition gathers the painters’ separate perspectives at one table, reinforcing both shared ideas and the community they have forged.
