New Exhibition by Grace Fisher '22 (Music Composition) at the Moxi Exudes the Power of Determination and Exploration
Fisher's Exhibition featured in Noozhawk and Voice Magazine
Grace Fisher ‘22 (CCS Music Composition), founder of the Grace Fisher Foundation, was recently featured in Noozhawk and Voice Magazine for her exhibit “Imagination: Beyond Limitations," on display now through September at the MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation. The exhibition features a collection of Grace’s renowned mouth paintings—each meticulously crafted by holding the paintbrush in her mouth—alongside works from local community members.
The explorative technique emerged from adversity after Grace was diagnosed with a rare illness that left her quadriplegic. Instead of giving up painting and music, Grace pushed the bounds of creativity to find new ways to express herself artistically.
“A heartwarming exhibit highlighting creativity, community, and the triumph of the human spirit”

Grace aims to use her art as a foundation for building community with the Foundation’s exhibition announcement reading: “Her work, alongside the pieces created by community members who embraced this technique out of exploration, exemplifies the power of determination and the beauty of artistic expression.”
To further this mission, the exhibition is paired with the award-winning Critter Fables, an animated short highlighting art by kids with disabilities alongside Grace’s music, as well as original composition Midnight Moon and the anniversary promotional video Inclusive Arts Clubhouse.
