Cevins McCullah (b. 1987, Bakersfield, California) is a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in
sculpture and installation. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Santa Barbara.His practice explores play, memory, and embodied interaction, oftenthrough large-scale participatory works that invite viewers to engage through touch, movement, and interaction. Drawing from childhood forms and found objects, his work examines how people navigate space and connect through shared physical experiences.
Cevins is particularly interested in art as a form of emotional processing and collective memory making, creating environments that encourage exploration and reflection. Cevins has presented solo exhibitions including Public Apocrypha (2026), Structure and Substance (2025), Intergenerational Transference (2024), and Lost and Found (2023).
His work has also been featured in group exhibitions at the Art, Design & Architecture Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara, among others. He is the recipient of the Traveling Undergraduate Research Fund, the Letendre Art Scholarship, and the Eli Luria Honorary Scholarship. Cevins is currently interviewing for graduate programs in Los Angeles.
