Meet Alumna Sophia Wolczko ‘23 (CCS Physics); Ph.D. Student, Columbia University

Join us and network with Sophia Wolczko ‘23 (CCS Physics) as she shares her journey from the College of Creative Studies (CCS) to Columbia University where she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in theoretical condensed matter. Sophia will give a presentation followed by a Q&A session.
During her time at CCS, Sophia was a 2021 Dean’s Fellow in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program and recipient of the 2023 Joaquin Luttinger Fellowship. In addition, Sophia was a dedicated member of the Vlcek Research Group and recipient of the Future Leaders in Advanced Materials (FLAM) Summer Undergraduate Research Program.
