A Box of One’s Own explores how the cross-cultural exhibition project, Women Beyond Borders fostered experimental spaces for women to do-it-themself and do-it-together and highlighted artistic media often dismissed as being coded feminine. The exhibition celebrates the transformative gift of the archives and artworks from the Women Beyond Borders Art Collection founded by Lorraine D. Serena to the AD&A Museum.
