Sick And Twisted Individuals" is a senior recital presented by Wesley Bowen '26 (CCS Music Composition).

Wes is presenting and performing live original compositions that blend together contemporary classical (music that's too smart for its own good) and rock (music that's too stupid for its own good) into a humorous and eccentric package.

Enlist in a brief repose of wartime merriment and cheer, featuring both original and arranged music with the overarching theme of military triumph and pomp. Fantasia, Dreams of War is Angus Malcomson's Junior recital, it will include Solos, Duets, and Large Chamber pieces. He sincerely hopes that, even if for a small moment, you will be swept away on a wave of nationalistic elation!

I’ve spent the past year working on a series of over 52 paintings of San Francisco to create my dream deck of playing cards! I’ll have some decks available for purchase at the reception. Liliana Calypso '26 (CCS Art) (b. 2002 Hollywood, CA) is an artist based in Santa Barbara. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2026. She makes paintings and sculptures driven by personal narrative that fuses familiar locations with imagined landscapes to create worlds that explore grief, loss, and enduring love. Her work has been featured in exhibitions at Glass Box Gallery and Four Hundred Gallery.

Have you ever wondered what Medusa was really like? She wasn't a monster. At least, she wasn't always one.

The story of how she got her snakes is one of romance, tragedy, and wrathful Gods. See it all in this world-premiere showcase of a new musical: A Legacy of Stone!

I’m thrilled to share my first solo exhibition with you! I would love to see you at the opening  and/or closing reception for a series of paintings I made this year. Join us on April 15th in room 1145 at 5:00 PM for the culmination of Kai's studies at UCSB.

His program features intimate pieces for solo piano, film scores, a grand piece for chamber orchestra, and much more.

With a focus on melody-first composition, Kai's recital will tell the story of his time at UCSB, and leave the listener with both the songs of his successes and the tunes of his tribulations.

In a program that pushes their high-low combination through the Looking Glass, Departure Duo invites listeners to a world where voice and instrument become one sonic body, sound off on a proto-language, and follow gargoyles on a PM walk.

Cevins McCullah (b. 1987, Bakersfield, California) is a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in
sculpture and installation. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Phoebe Brunner ’72 (CCS Art) will be celebrated with an opening reception for her sixth solo exhibition at Sullivan Goss Gallery on Thursday, February 5, from 5–8 p.m. A Radiant Solitude will be on display from January 30–March 23, 2026.

We also warmly invite you to join us that same afternoon at 3:30 PM in the Old Little Theater for an artist talk, where Hudson will speak about their practice and the work currently on view in the gallery.
